Pregnancy Week 13

Congratulations! At the end of week 13, it's the end of the first quarter, not just for mothers not to feel sleepy during meetings (or vomiting!). Now the mother has reached a third of the pregnancy. At the age of 13, the baby has vocal lines, teeth and fingerprints. Now, moms should still keep this very good news (almost) a secret, even if you want to shout out to the world, or at least use it as an excuse to get a little late.

By the end of week 13, most parents had already begun to give people good news. Actually, there aren't many rules to tell when, maybe after your next doctor's appointment. At that time, your mother would have a bloated stomach, or she could be informed of the reunion that everyone was coming forward with, or everyone could know! It's up to you.

What is the size of a 13-week-old fetus?

At 13 weeks old, the baby is the size of a lemon, a 13-week-old embryo that is about 2.9 inches long and weighs about 81 ounces. Now you're getting the right proportions because your head is about 1/3 of the body instead of 1/2.

13 weeks pregnant

In week 13, the mother was three months pregnant, even though doctors tracked the pregnancy more weekly than monthly. This is the last week of the first quarter, too (we talk about it often because getting to this point is not easy. Is that true?)

Symptoms of pregnancy at 13 weeks

Mothers may notice that in week 13, the symptoms change slightly. Now your mother may not have any nausea left (or may disappear soon) and may no longer need a nap, but the following symptoms may still be present.

  • Clearer veins The mother will see more blood vessels under the skin as the blood flow increases.
  • There's more power. During the second trimester, the mother is known to have the least symptoms and has the most physical strength. When your mother feels fresher and more energetic, she can do a lot of things. You might want to do everything, and so do you. In the late 1990s, my mother felt she was too unwell and tired to exercise. Now it's time to get back to work out. Exercise will help to make childbirth more easily possible. It's worth it!
  • There is an increase in sexual activity. If you're 13 weeks pregnant, you still have a feeling of sexual desire, and if after sex, the mother finds herself bleeding. It is also considered normal for the last 13 weeks because the mother's cervix is particularly fragile, but if there is a lot of bleeding (like menstruation), you must notify the doctor immediately.

FOR MOTHERS WHO ARE PREGNANT WITH TWINS, IT'S A LITTLE MORE SYMPATHETIC BECAUSE DURING THE 13TH WEEK, MOTHERS MAY STILL HAVE STOMACH ALLERGIES AND EXHAUSTION, WHICH IS BECAUSE THE MOTHER-OF-TWO'S HCG HORMONE IS MORE THAN A SINGLE MOTHER'S PREGNANCY. IF YOU ARE REALLY FEELING VERY HEAVY IN NAUSEA AND VOMITING, PLEASE INFORM YOUR OBSTETRICIAN, BUT IF YOU STILL EAT AND DRINK WATER, EVEN IF YOU STILL FEEL SICK. I WISH YOU A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE.

Your mother's pregnancy is 13 weeks pregnant.

Now your mother's uterus is large enough to be out of the pelvis. It means that mothers are starting to look like pregnant people, and you've come a third of the time. Now you can get on the train!

Mothers will have a clearer look of the belly. Because the 13th week pregnancy will increase weight gain. The obstetrician advises mothers to weigh on the healthiest criteria, which means they have to rise slowly and regularly throughout pregnancy. This is the weight threshold recommended by the American Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

If you're underweight (BMI below 18.5)

  • During pregnancy, mothers should weigh between 28 and 40 pounds.
  • in the second and third quarters. Try to make weight gain of about 1 pound (1 to 1.3 pounds) per week.

If you're a normal weight (BMI 18.5 to 24.9), you'll be 3.5 times higher than your mother's weight.

  • During pregnancy, mothers should weigh between 25 and 35 pounds.
  • in the second and third quarters. Try to make weight gain of about 1 pound or less (0.8 to 1 pounds) per week.

If you're overweight (BMI 25 to 29.9), you'll be 25.9 times more than the threshold.

  • During pregnancy, mothers should weigh between 15 and 25 pounds.
  • during the second and third quarters. Try to make it a little more than half a pound (0.5 to 0.7 pounds) per week.

If you're overweight (BMI 30 or higher), you'll be removed.

  • Throughout pregnancy, mothers should weigh between 11 and 20 pounds.
  • during the second and third quarters. Try to make weight gain by about half a pound (0.4 to 0.6 pounds) per week.

If your mother is pregnant with twins and is 13 weeks pregnant,

  • During pregnancy, mothers should weigh between 37 and 54 pounds.
  • In the first half of pregnancy Try to make weight gain of about 1 pound a week in the second half. Try to make it a little more than one pound per week.

Of course, don't worry about the numbers, just eat a healthy and varied diet, eat 300 calories a day compared to before you get pregnant, and exercise properly.

Ultrasound at 13 weeks of pregnancy

An ultrasound at the age of 13 weeks can indicate the sex of the child. However, since the organs that indicate femaleity and males are also difficult to identify. The doctor may wait halfway through the pregnancy first (that is, weeks 18 to 22), then everything becomes clearer and can see if the mother has a son or daughter.

IF THE MOTHER CHOOSES TO UNDERGO AN NIPT TEST FOR CHROMOSOMAL ABNORMALITIES, SHE MAY BE ABLE TO SEE THE ABNORMALITY. MOTHERS MAY KNOW THEIR CHILD'S GENDER WHEN THEY RECEIVE THE RESULTS. SO EVEN IF IT'S ONLY THE 13TH WEEK, YOU'LL PROBABLY KNOW!
