Pregnancy Week 38

Oh, my God! If you're a mother, you feel like you're in pain, running up and down along the legs (and maybe at the genital area too!). In the 38th week, the baby may be very low in the pelvic area. It means that you're pressing against all the nerves in that area, including the particularly sensitive nerves that mothers may not even know they have. While the mother is dealing with a new discomfort, Be sure to observe the signs that you are about to give birth, both the intense and intrauterine squeezing and the indispensable "blood mucus" that is excreted. The elephant party is coming on any given day now, and you may have to wait a few weeks.

What is the size of a 38-week-old fetus?

In the 38th week, you were about 19.6 inches long, the head and abdomen had an equal circumference, an average weight of about 6.8 pounds, similar to the one that was born at birth.

38 weeks pregnant

I'm nine months pregnant now.

Symptoms of pregnancy at 38 weeks

The most common symptom in week 38 is that it is truly a symptom of a pregnant person. You're getting bigger. I'm almost ready to come out and see the world and my mother's body is getting ready for the big day (the day of birth). Your mother's body will have the following symptoms:

  • This week, the squeezing of the uterus is normal. Mothers may have been feeling this condition for weeks, or they may have just begun to notice that the uterus is starting to squeeze. If squeezing doesn't hurt your mother and disappears when changing postures, That's a warning pain or a seding pain (uterus "rehearses" squeezing).
  • There may be a problem with sleeping, maybe your mother feels anxious, or it can be caused by all the pain you experience, but for those who are tired, it's very difficult to sleep at night!
  • Increased vaginal discharge Mothers may start to notice that there is a thick mucus coming out. It's very normal, it's excreted when the cervix begins to open in preparation for childbirth.
  • itchy belly The belly in this 38-week stretch extends as much as possible. Therefore, it is possible that the skin will feel more sensitive. During this time, mothers may want to switch to intensive moisturisers such as shea butter and skincare for pregnant people. Don't forget to drink plenty of water, and if the rash is any more important, please let your doctor know.
  • Swollen feet and ankles My mother has been 38 weeks pregnant, which means there's a good excuse to sit back and raise her feet as high as she wants to. Walking frequently will help to facilitate blood flow and reduce swelling.
  • This week, anxiety about pregnancy is normal, the feeling of being ready to give birth to a baby will intensify if your mother gains weight during pregnancy. I've had complications or twin pregnancies, trying to think about it, but it's fun to go to the movies, go to dinner with my dad, go for lunch with a friend. This is the last few days or the last few weeks before the newborn baby draws all the attention of the mother. So make your life as happy as possible.

Signs of childbirth in week 38

This week, the company Signs of childbirth may have begun. Early signs include:

  • Contains mucus or mucus. The mother may have a whitening that looks like a sticky mucus (mucus off the cervix) and may have a slight blood clot (prenatal mucus). This is a sign that your mother's cervix has begun to open to prepare for childbirth.
  • In the 38th week, diarrhea may not be caused by eating spicy foods, but it may be a sign of hormones in the near-delivery period.
  • Nausea Some mothers may have nausea this week. This may not always be a sign of childbirth. But many people insist that they feel nausea before they start to hurt their stomachs.
  • This week, the squeezing of the uterus has become a normal occurrence every day, or the mother may not feel at all, but the mother should know that if the stomach starts to harden for a period of time and the symptoms do not disappear. That means there's a chance that the mother will start to get into a pregnancy. The squeezing of the uterus that hurts or occurs every five minutes or more often, and occurs more than 2 hours ago, is a sign that the mother is alreadyborn and has to be rushed to the hospital immediately!
  • Back pain Mothers may have had back pain for weeks now, but severe or acute back pain in the 38th week may indicate that the mother is already giving birth. I need to call the doctor immediately.
  • Water Walk If you feel that there's water coming out, that could mean that your mother's amniotic fluid is broken and there's amniotic fluid leaking. The mother begins to enter the delivery process shortly after the water walks. I need to call the doctor immediately.

This week, the rush to deliver may be medically necessary if the mother has complications such as pregnancy poisoning or diabetes, hysterectomy or placenta-related problems, or if the mother is pregnant with twins or bleeding in the 38th week, the doctor may tell the mother, "It's time!" Of course, every mother who thinks she still has two weeks left is very alarmed, but everything's going to be fine. We're not 100% ready (but maybe you'll have to wait until week 42). Both mother and baby are already with the doctor. Don't worry about it.

Don't forget that this week. Natural birth rush is not the right thing to do. You still need a little more time to live in your mother's womb, and some ways of accelerating childbirth are considered unsafe. If you want to encourage yourself to give birth, consult your doctor first and wait at least a week for the baby to be "matured."

Ultrasound at 38 weeks of pregnancy

In your mother's belly this week. You may already have one inch of long hair. Now that you're taking a white wax that's coated (it's the newborn's wax), but when you give birth, you may still see it.

Now you have to see your doctor every week, so this week will be the same. The doctor will see if you put your head down and your head down in the pelvic floor, and an internal examination will be performed to see if your mother's cervix has started to open and thin. Both of these signs say the body is ready to give birth, but it's too bad that there's no threshold. "Normal" allows to guess when the cervix begins to open and thin down. When symptoms begin, it can take a few hours to weeks before the mother begins to suffer a caesarean, but assuming the cervix is not open. Your mother may have suffered a stomach ache the next day, too.

IF YOU WANT TO CHECK YOUR BABY MORE THOROUGHLY, YOU MAY HAVE AN ULTRASOUND TO SEE THE SIZE OF YOUR CHILD AND POSSIBLY BPP. YOUR MOVEMENTS, MUSCLE STIFFNESS AND HEART RATE, AS WELL AS YOUR MOTHER'S AMNIOTIC FLUID. IN SOME CASES, THE RESULTS OF THIS TEST WILL HELP THE DOCTOR DECIDE WHETHER TO GIVE BIRTH TO THE MOTHER BEFORE THE FIRST SCHEDULED DATE.
